Neverending Knoll Workshop is home to a multidisciplinary team of designers with backgrounds in arboriculture and gardening followed by decades of world-class design experience, in film, publishing, and advertising, yet with all that experience we see Kneverending Knoll Workshop as a design laboratory.
Not only do we see NKW as a design lab now, but we intend to keep this ethos as part of our process going forward. We believe that the moment we stop being curious, experimental, and collaborative, we stop learning and growing.
With this in mind, we see our design studio as a two-fold collaboration project. At our design lab in Sonoma CA, we collaborate with the natural world, experimenting through design with materials and living systems. Outside our design lab, we collaborate with you our clients, bringing the design knowledge gained through experimentation to bear in conversation with the needs and dreams of your projects.

We are designers who relish collaboration, be that with nature or with our clients. Our process is based on our extensive experience as film designers where the emotion of place is as important as the quality of the craftsmanship.
Our process prioritizes conversations about how our clients want to feel inside the spaces we are collaborating on. Budget, timeline, materials, and plants all play important roles in the design of a place, but the most beautiful landscape means little if it does not move those who inhabit it.
